David Brown

SPECIALIST SPEECH & LANGUAGE THERAPIST (NEUROLOGY)

David qualified as a Speech & Language Therapist in 2007 at Birmingham City University. Since then, he has worked extensively in rehabilitation and acute settings supporting adults with neurological conditions, voice difficulties, tracheostomy care and dementia. He is experienced in providing input for communication and swallowing difficulties (dysphagia). He has a specific interest in the use of technology in therapy and the provision of Augmentative and Alternative Communication ('AAC').

David enjoys working within a multi-disciplinary team and working with patients and families towards achieving therapeutic goals.
