Laiyba Razzaq

SPEECH & LANGUAGE THERAPY ASSISTANT / NEURO REHAB ASSISTANT

Laiyba is currently completing a Master’s degree in Cognitive Neuroimaging and Data Science (Computational Pathway), driven by a strong passion for understanding brain function, rehabilitation, and cognitive development.

She has gained valuable experience working as an SEN Behaviour Mentor, supporting children with autism, ADHD, and dyslexia. In this role, she delivered tailored interventions to promote communication skills, emotional regulation, and academic engagement. This experience strengthened her ability to adapt her approach to meet individual needs and deepened her commitment to person-centred support.

Additionally, Laiyba has worked closely with a child who sustained a brain injury, providing structured cognitive rehabilitation activities to enhance executive functioning, problem-solving abilities, and memory strategies. Through this experience, she developed a deeper understanding of the unique challenges faced following neurological injuries and the importance of fostering a supportive and empowering environment.

She is passionate about helping individuals feel heard, valued, and motivated to achieve their goals. As she continues to grow academically and clinically, Laiyba is excited to apply her skills and knowledge to make a meaningful difference through her work with Linguistic Resolutions.
