SPEECH AND LANGUAGE THERAPIST (NEUROLOGY)

Matt graduated with Distinction in Speech and Language Therapy (PGDip) from Canterbury Christ Church University and is a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist with extensive experience in neuro-rehabilitation and complex acute care. He is highly skilled in managing tracheostomies, assessing and treating patients with Prolonged Disorders of Consciousness (PDOC), and carrying out instrumental swallow assessments including Videofluoroscopic Swallow Studies (VFS) and Fibreoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES).

Matt also specialises in supporting adults with aphasia, cognitive-communication difficulties, dysarthria, and dyspraxia, helping clients improve functional communication and overall quality of life.

Alongside his clinical practice, he has held senior healthcare management roles, leading multidisciplinary teams and developing services to ensure safe, evidence-based, and patient-centred care.
