Sarah Gourlay

SPECIALIST SPEECH AND LANGUAGE THERAPIST (NEUROLOGY)

Sarah is an experienced Speech and Language Therapist specialising in adult neurological rehabilitation, both communication and dysphagia. She has extensive experience of working collaboratively with patients, families and carers in a number of NHS settings, including community, residential care, and acute inpatients. She has worked with a broad range of diagnosis from stroke, head injury, Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neurone Disease, Parkinson’s disease, head and neck oncology, COPD and beyond. She is trained in delivering the Lee Silverman Voice Treatment for adults with Parkinson’s disease. She is experienced in working alongside other members of the rehabilitation team including clinical psychology, occupational therapy and physiotherapy.

Sarah qualified from UCL with an MSc in Speech and Language Pathology and Therapy in 1999.
