Sophie Jamieson

SPEECH AND LANGUAGE THERAPIST (NEUROLOGY)

Sophie graduated with a first-class honours degree in Speech and Language Therapy (BSc) from the University of East Anglia. Since graduating, she has worked in a variety of settings with adults, most recently working in an acute hospital with people post-stroke. Sophie’s clinical interests are dysphagia and acquired communication disorders. She is confident in using a variety of different approaches to assessment and therapy, ensuring to tailor these to each client’s specific needs and goals.

Sophie is particularly passionate about integrating evidence-based practice into her clinical work and is currently completing an MSc in Clinical Neuroscience. She hopes this will further her knowledge and application of innovative research to clinical practice.
