Bethany Davison

SPECIALIST PAEDIATRIC SPEECH AND LANGUAGE THERAPIST (NEUROLOGY)

Bethany completed her MSc in Speech and Language Sciences at UCL in London. Prior to this, she studied at Lancaster University, achieving a BSc in Psychology in Education and an MSc in Developmental Disorders.

Bethany currently works in the NHS Paediatric Speech and Language Therapy Team in Ealing. Bethany has previously worked in Mainstream Schools and currently works in both Special Schools and the Dysphagia team, which has given her experience in supporting children with a wide range of needs, including working with learning disabilities, Down’s Syndrome, Autism, speech sound disorders, language difficulties and more. Bethany is passionate about supporting children to reach their full potential by working closely with families and school staff and considering a child’s functional communication.

Bethany has a special interest in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), and has experience in using a range of different AAC to support children to develop their communication. Bethany has also completed courses in both Makaton and Signalong.
