SPECIALIST PAEDIATRIC SPEECH AND LANGUAGE THERAPIST (NEUROLOGY)

With over 9 years’ experience as a paediatric speech and language therapist, Dje has obtained substantial knowledge and skills in providing assessment and treatment for various speech, language, and communication difficulties. These include difficulties associated with neurological conditions, syndromes, Autism, Global developmental delay, Developmental language disorder and more. After qualifying in 2015 from City University of London, Dje worked within NHS trusts, private practices and agencies across London and Essex. She has supported children, young people, and their families in clinics, specialist educational provisions, nurseries, homes, mainstream and special schools. Collaborative working with other professionals has been an integral part of Dje’s work.

Dje is passionate about tailoring treatment in a manner that is holistic, creative, and unique to the children and young people she supports. Through coaching, Dje aims to share knowledge and empower families and carers, whilst learning from their journeys. She has sharpened her skills and knowledge in the use of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and is keenly searching for ways to support children and young people with complex needs to reach their full potential.
