Lisa Robson

specialist speech and language therapist (neurology)

Lisa Robson is a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist who works with adults with acquired communication and swallowing disorders. Her specific interests are in neuro-rehabilitation, traumatic brain injury and progressive conditions.

Since qualifying from Newcastle University in 2007, she has worked with patients in a range of settings including hospitals, inpatient neuro-rehabilitation units, outpatient clinics, nursing homes and patient’s own homes.

Lisa has experience of working with a range neurological conditions and is skilled in assessing and treating resulting speech, language, voice, cognitive communication impairments and swallowing difficulties. She is also a certified clinician in Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT). Lisa aims to combine evidence based treatment with the client’s own personal goals to achieve functional outcomes that have impacts on everyday life/ situations.
