Rebeccah Webber

SPEECH & LANGUAGE THERAPY ASSISTANT / NEURO REHAB ASSISTANT

Rebeccah graduated with a BSc in Psychology from the University of Sheffield in 2019. Inspired by her module ‘atypical brain development and degeneration’, which covered stroke and aphasia, she felt drawn to the career of a Speech and Language Therapist.

She has held multiple positions as a psychology research assistant, assisting projects on motor abilities in children with ADHD, thinking patterns, and health behaviours. She also has experience working alongside individuals with cancer and dementia within hospital and care home settings.

Through her work with Linguistic Resolutions, Rebeccah is excited to build valuable experience as a speech and language therapy assistant. She is passionate about the importance of the client relationship and in working collaboratively to produce meaningful outcomes.

Rebeccah is aiming to start her MSc in Speech and Language Therapy in 2022. After having familial experiences with early-onset Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s, she hopes to eventually specialise in progressive neurological disorders.
