Sally Ghibaldan

Company Director & Specialist Speech & Language Therapist (Neurology)

Sally is the founder of Linguistic Resolutions and has practiced for 19 years as an SLT. (See ‘Videos’ section for the LR story). Sally is an experienced, creative clinician working exclusively with adults with acquired neurological impairments. Sally has worked in a wide range of NHS and private settings; acute inpatient wards, rehabilitation wards (including the MoD’s former Headley Court, The RRU and BIRT), outpatient clinics, client’s homes, nursing homes / residential units and the community in general.

Sally recognises that regaining communication skills after a life-changing injury means regaining one’s dignity, control and enjoyment in life. To that end Sally emphasises collaborative working with clients, families, friends, colleagues and team members to develop meaningful treatment goals, activities and strategies. Although she works with a wide range of clients, Sally has special interests in cognitive communication disorders (CCD), dysphasia, dyspraxia and facial palsy. Sally has the expertise, character and determination to support complex neuro clients from the start to the end of their rehabilitation journey. It is an absolute privilege to work with this client group.

Under her direction, Linguistic Resolutions has grown and evolved from a one-man-band back in 2007, to a team of 40 clinicians who are all very well rounded and exceptional at their work. Controlled and nurtured team growth has resulted in increasing SLT specialism and expertise within the company. Sally ensures that the service is always about clinical excellence, holistic SLT and the team being pioneers in innovation. She offers a very unique service to both her clients and the team that work with her.
